I’ve purchased the WP Affiliate Manager and am now thinking of purchasing the WooCommerce Coupons Integration Addon. My client wants the ability for affiliates to give out coupon codes (worth $5 off a purchase) and have the affiliate also receive a commission when the coupon is used. It sounds like the addon will accomplish this, correct?
What I don’t like is that the addon requires the admin to manually create the coupons and then also manually enter the associate with the specific affiliate. The client was hoping this would all be automated—a coupon would be generated and sent to the affiliate once their affiliate registration has been approved.
My quesiton is, is there a way to accomplish this with the addon or is there a simpler way to do it without the coupon addon? Something where anyone with the affiliate link would automatically receive a $5 discount when making a purchase. Thanks!
Hi, This won’t be possible since affiliates manager doesn’t control the e-commerce side of your store. This should be controlled by the e-commerce/membership plugin in question (WooCommerce in your case). The addon was designed in a way so the admin can manually create a coupon in WooCommerce and associate it with an affiliate ID in the addon settings. This way the admin can also control which affiliate should get commission for a coupon.
