ParticipantOn the Affiliate Registration Page, the “Terms and Conditions” link doesn’t work.
1. Have a look on my site:
http://www.simplyinvesting.com/affiliate-home/affiliate-register/
2. Scroll to the bottom of the form, directly above the “Submit Application” button
3. Click on “Terms and Condition” where it says “I have read and agree to the Terms and Condition”
4. Nothing happens, the user is unable to view the Terms and Conditions
5. Is it supposed to open a new tab, new page, or pop-up showing the Terms & Conditions? The problems occurs in all 3 browsers (Firefox, Chrome, IE).

ModeratorHi, I just tested this in my laptop using Firefox and it works for me. Try the following, clear your browser cache and carry out another test.

ParticipantHi Have just added your plug in to my site & I have exactly the same issue you click on the ‘terms & conditions’ link & nothing, if I right click & choose open link in separate tab it just takes you back to the registration page I have tried it on Chrome & IE
Clearing cache does zilch.

Moderator@richardmoore the reason why your link is not working is because there is not link. When I click on Terms and Conditions it is pointing to the following link. The harsh # at the end means it is not linked.

Please check your settings.

ParticipantKind of hoped you may have ellaborated & explained where the settings for this were tbh. I can easily add a page & add the text but I assumed like the other pages it was pre-set

ModeratorHi, can you carry out a test. Can you test one of WordPress default themes like Twenty Fifteen or Sixteen? When you click on the Terms and Conditions link, you should see a pop up. However in your case I can kind of see a flash reaction but nothing is popping up. So I suspect either your theme is causing this or a plugin.

ParticipantThankyou yes I noticed that flash. Ok well I have lots of plug ins & I hate that way of trouble shooting (though I do appreciate that is the only way sometimes to pin point issues on a WordPress site)
I think the easiest resolve for me here is if I just copy & paste the T’s & C’s & simply make a new page.
Only thing stopping me doing this is that I don’t know where to paste the link as all the current page has is the short code I couldn’t see anything in editor either. If someone could simply advise me where to place the url link in terms & conditions text that would be a much easier solution.
Thankyou in advance

ModeratorHi, I understand what you mean but disabling plugins and testing a different theme is usually the best way to troubleshoot compatibility issues. If you don’t find a solution now to a problem that might exist, it could represent a larger issue in the future. I never believe in patching issues but rather in finding a solid solution 😉
In regards to the Terms and Conditions link. There is no physical link. It is a pop up windows that displays the terms and conditions. Trying to do it your way might represent more work for you. This would require hacking the code and that can become messy not to mention that you would loose the settings the moment the plugin is updated.
My humble opinion.

ParticipantHmm ok well I really do appreciate your honest opinion. There must be a link though for the pop up to appear. I wouldn’t lose the settings if I done the change within my child theme.
