ParticipantHello,
I just created a test affiliate on my client site (manually approved) but when I login it redirects to: /affiliate-home/, then when I click on the profile it goes to there: /wp-admin/profile.php and when I end up clicking on the link “Affiliates” in the menu it redirects back to /affiliate-home/
I never have the possibilty to go in the affiliate panel to see affiliates links and material or to check my payments…
Can you help?

KeymasterHi, You are trying to access the admin dashboard as an affiliate. You will need to be logged in as admin in a different browser in order to check it. Alternatively, you can log out and log back in using your admin account.
Each affiliate is associated with a WordPress user account. So when you login as an affiliate you are actually logged in as a WordPress user. The plugin doesn’t allow affiliate WordPress user to see anything but their WordPress profile in the admin dashboard.

ParticipantIt is not what I was asking for.
Are you telling me affiliates have no access to their affiliate links?
There is no dashboard for them?
How are they supposed to grab their links? Thanks 🙂

KeymasterDid you log in as an affiliate and check the Store Affiliate page?
September 24, 2016 at 2:12 pm #2238kategriss
ParticipantYes I logged in as an affiliate and I checked both the http://example.com/affiliate-home/ page and I tried to go here http://example.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=wpam-affiliates but was redirected http://example.com/affiliate-home/
So where an affiliate can get his affiliate link ?
As an admin I can see affiliates links there http://example.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=wpam-affiliates&viewDetail=2 when I view an affiliate in the fourth tab for affiliate links.
Thanks for helping.

KeymasterCan you please share the test affiliate account details so I can check the affiliate homepage? Please also provide the actual links instead of example.com

KeymasterThank You. It looks like you have customized the Affiliate homepage message for logged in user. What you see when you are not logged in is fine. But the one that it shows once are you are logged in is not what the plugin displays by default.
Where is this content coming from?
“Voici la page d’accueil pour les affiliés de ce site.
Vous êtes connecté !”September 25, 2016 at 8:57 am #2243kategriss
ParticipantHello,
This page has been edited directly in the WordPress pages.
I translated the text needed.Should I add something to the page for it to be functionnal?

KeymasterDo you have this shortcode in the content area?
[AffiliatesHome]
September 26, 2016 at 6:21 am #2246kategriss
ParticipantNo I don’t have this shortcode. Should I? Will it work if I add it?
September 27, 2016 at 12:37 am #2247Shadow Labs
KeymasterYes. This shortcode renders the content of the affiliate homepage. It should be there by default. Did you remove it when you edited the page?
September 27, 2016 at 7:58 am #2249kategriss
ParticipantThanks, it’s working!
I may have removed the shortcode when editing the page.
Last question: if I edit the affiliates-manager-fr_FR.po to adjust the translation, will it work all over the affiliate pages?
Thanks.

KeymasterIt should work as long as the language of your site is set to “French” in the General settings.
