ParticipantOk so it turns out that it wasn’t working because double-opt in wasn’t turned on in MailChimp. You should probably mention that in your documentation.
I ran a test and the lead was add, however I have no way in MailChimp to tell that they are an affiliate and I don’t have a separate list for affiliates. I was hoping I could tell in the history or have the ability to add a tag to the user.
Both the having to turn on double opt-in and the lack of tagging means I can’t use this feature.

Have you thought of adding an affiliate list in your MailChimp account? This would help you.

ParticipantYes but that means I have to pay more for MailChimp.
I’d rather have everyone in one list that I segment.
