Affiliates Management Plugin for WordPress
by
WordPress Affiliate Manager › Forums › Affiliate Manager Plugin › Convert an WooCommerce User to Affiliate
Hi there! I have not been able to find if this question had already been answered. If so, excuse me:
We have a WooCommerce and we use WPAM 2.7.9, our problem is the following:
When a client wants to enter our affiliate program, when creating it, it gives us an error because their email is already in use. We must ask you to create a new email account to be able to register you as an affiliate.
Is there a way to convert a user into an affiliate?
Thank you.
@Josep, Please update the plugin to the latest release (2.8.3). The error is shown if an affiliate account exists (not for a WordPress user account). What happens if they apply after logging in?
Thanks for your time Shadow Labs, you are right. The problem we have is not because of WPAM. It is due to a registration form that a developer prepared for us. This tries to register a user and, in turn, make him an affiliate. That is why this error appears.
I will ask him to modify it so that, in the event that the user exists, it only makes it an affiliate.
Thanks!
