Upon submitting application for registration, a red validation error is shown saying ‘Email Address is in use’ even though that user does not exist as an affiliate or wordpress user. Looking at the back end, it does create the user appropriately but this error is going to lead people to believe there was an error during registration.
Wordpress version: 5.8.3
Woocommerce version: 6.1.0
PHP version: 7.4.15
Theme: Botiga 1.0.9@jrharrison45, This happens when the form is submitted once but the data is posted twice. Are you using a SEO or Page builder plugin?
Good to know @Shadow Labs. I do have “All in One SEO” installed. Is this the culprit? Is there another SEO plugin, such as Yoast, that would not cause this to happen?
@jrharrison45, Thanks. I don’t think All in One SEO alone will cause this issue. Can you please deactivate one plugin at at a time to find the conflicting one?
@Shadow Labs, it looks like All in One SEO was the culprit. I disabled the plugin and tested and the registration operates like normal. Thank you for pointing me in the right direction.
