Affiliates Management Plugin for WordPress
by
WordPress Affiliate Manager › Forums › Affiliate Manager Plugin › Bounty Rate Not reflecting
I have set
1. the “Bounty Type” to “Percentage of Sales” and
2. the “Bounty Rate (% of Sale) / Amount” to 40 in the settings page.
However, as an affiliate when I login to /affiliate-home, the commission rate is shown as “25.00% of each completed sale, pre-tax”. How do I resolve this issue?
I looked into other threads and did not find a concrete solution.
thanks in advance.
@prakash1234, You can edit an affiliate’s profile and change the commission rate.
@shadowlabs, Thanks for the response.
I want to have 40% reflected on every affiliate who signs up and shown as 40%. I thought that was the purpose of setting the “Bounty Rate” in settings page.
When you say I need to set in Affiliate’s profile, do you mean the default is set to 25% by developers? After the affiliate registers, we need to change it to another percentage for each of the affiliates manually?
Also, when I open the Affiliate’s profile (available inside the “My Affiliates” section), I see the Bounty rate is not an editable field. In fact the entire affiliate record is a View only record.
Please let me know if I am missing something.
Thanks in advance.
@prakash1234, There is no default rate in the plugin other than the one shown in the General settings. If it is set to 25%, new affiliates will have their commission rates set to 25%.
Editing this value in the settings will not change the commission rate of an existing affiliate. If you want to change the commission rate of an existing affiliate to 40% you will need to edit their profile (My Affiliates > View > Information).
@shadowlabs, Thanks so much. I am able to change the rate.
