I had set the affiliation links for some of my coworkers, but I didn’t know that when using Woo Subscription plugin without the Woo Subscripton add-on only the visits will be recorded.

Can I somehow link the buyers to the Affiliates after installing the Woo Subscripton add-on?
Maybe using the Click Trackings / Tracking Keys somehow?
111 people bought the product and I have 4 Affiliates, so I could even do it by hand if only I had knew how to do it. 🙂

@m12cpl, I’m not sure what you are referring to. Clicks will be tracked as long as you have our core Affiliates Manager plugin installed. The integration addon is required for purchases to be tracked so commissions can be rewarded to affiliates. Are you using our integration addon with the official WooCommerce subscription plugin: https://wpaffiliatemanager.com/affiliates-manager-woocommerce-subscription-integration/

Ok, let me start from the beginning, my first post was a bit chaotic.

First: I used just pure WordPress Affiliate Manager, without any add-ons.
But I have Woo with Woo subscriptions, and my product (bought by 111 people) is a subscription.
That’s why WordPress Affiliate Manager counted only the visits, but not the sales. So when I go to the profile of one of my affiliates, I can see for example 98 visits from his/hers link, but the commisiion is 0.00.

Now I know, that I had to use Woo Subscription add-on, but it’s to late. 😀

So now I try to find a way to somehow (even manually if it’s possible) get the data, how many sales where from which of my Affiliates.

So far my idea is this:
When I go to the CLick Tracking tab, I can see tracking keys and corresponding Affiliates ID’s.
For example: Affiliate ID: 19 and Tracking Key: 63cfdc0121272.
So now the only thing to do is to somehow connect the Tracking Keys with the Customers who bought the product.
    If I am correct.
If I knew the Tracking Key of every of my 111 Customers I will know which Affiliate it corresponds to.
And so I could manually count the commission for my 4 Affiliates.

Does that make any sense? And is it doable?

In fact – all I need is to know, how many purchases there were for each of my four Affiliates.

@m12cpl, Thanks for the explanation. Since the integration addon was not present when those purchases occurred it will not be easy to track those purchases now. You can check for the “_wpam_id” metadata in the order to see if a purchase was referred by an affiliate.

Does WooCommerce show the IP address of the customer in the order? If yes, you can also try to map it to the clicks data to see if any of them matches.

“_wpam_id” metadata – where to find this?
IP addresses: yes, there are IP addresses too. Could you guide me a little how to do it?

OK, I’ve got the IPs from the Click Tracking tab.
Now, is there any way to extract the IPs from the orders?
I can do it manually, 111 orders id doable. But maybe it can be automated? Maybe via the phpMyAdmin?

@m12cpl, You may need a plugin to check the metadata of each order if WooCommerce does not show by default. The alternative is to directly check the database.

Regarding IP addresses, if you see a click that came from the same ip address as the order you can assume that the purchase was referred by an affiliate. However, we recommend tracking via metadata as it is more reliable.
