ParticipantI have an ongoing issue for several years, and a new issue:
1. When I initially add a new affiliate manually, there is an email field. I usually place the PayPal email address there if it is different from the regular email address, because there is now separate field or option for that (can you check into that?). But after I add the affiliate, and click the Information tab, there is now a new field for PayPal email address. This is very confusing.2. When I add the email address there, and save changes. Then go to another page and come back and view the Information tab, it is not there. I also tried to update the percentage of the commission, but the changes do not save. I can give you temporary access to the site, where can I share the link privately?

KeymasterHi, Are you a premium customer? The paid option allows you receive premium support where we log in to the customer’s website to troubleshoot issues related to the plugin.

ParticipantI’m not aware of any “premium” version of WP Affiliate Manager.
Have you ever had the issues I mentioned before?
Also, did you read my message? As one of them is not support, but rather a general issue about the email address confusion.May 27, 2024 at 9:36 am #8759Shadow Labs
KeymasterAre you using some kind of caching?

ParticipantYes, I think all WordPress websites have at least some form of caching either at the plugin level or server level.
I use WP Rocket, and Cloudways hosting, and Cloudflare. This is a very common setup.
I am really curious about my two previous questions though, if you ever had the issue before, and about the other message? I don’t want the questions to get overlooked or ignore.

KeymasterWe haven’t heard of this exact issue before. It could happen if there is an error. Also depending on the cache you are using the plugin may not be able to retrieve the updated values from the database. So it will appear as if the options have not been updated.

ParticipantOkay. What about the other issue I keep asking about with the PayPal email address? Are you willing to answer it? Was it overlooked again, or are you not answering it on purpose? I just want to have a clear understanding of your company attitude whether you completely missed it or are just not willing to answer it.

ParticipantAnd regarding the cache, no cache would affect the database of your plugin, so doesn’t that seem like a strange thing for you to say? If you can prove to me technically speaking that caching on a server could prevent your plugin from working, then I would appreciate understanding. Otherwise, it seems like there is a fundamental serious issue with the plugin. I just need to know if I should switch to another affiliate plugin. I would prefer not to, but if you are not able to solve the issue, then I will just have to do that.

ParticipantCan we get an update on this? I literally can’t use your product. I try to change the affiliate commission from 15% to 30%, and nothing happens. Please help ASAP.

ParticipantHello team, even though I feel completely disrespected by your unprofessionalism of not replying or addressing the issue, I am being kind by letting you know that I hired a developer to solve YOUR issue.
The issue is caused by something you need to address, here is the message from the developer:
“The database table was missing the bankDetails column. I think they might have a bug in their database install/upgrade scripts. I’ve added the column and that seems to have fixed it.”
I confirm now I can change the commission rate and add their PayPal email address.

ParticipantWhy do you refuse to answer? I am trying to help, but you ignore it. Do you see this as strange and unprofessional? It’s all public, so I’m confused what’s up?
