I want to use this plugin not to pay, but to give credits toward a featured listing package through another plugin. I’m wanting to track impressions for images and click-throughs, but I’m not selling anything, I just want to build traffic. Can I still set it up to reward the affiliates for click traffic (and fake a payment with the check option) without having to complete a sale?

Second question: can I choose which affiliate links to permit each Affiliate to use? I would like to created a “Verified” program where users who meet specific criteria can use a special badge on their site, but that would only be made available to specific users, not the entire Affiliate group. Is there a way to allow/disallow creatives for specific Affiliates?

Ok good to know, but even if done a full purchase the Plugin does only track visits and impressions, but not the Purchases.

Which e-commerce plugin are you integrating it with? Do you have the debug option enabled in the settings?

If you are asking me, I’m using a plugin called GeoDirectory. [www.wpgeodirectory.com] It’s not an eCommerce plugin at all; I’m trying to use the Affiliate manager to drive traffic to the listings on my site. I’m interested in impressions, not sales.

okay cool. In that case you don’t really need any integration. Simply enable the manual affiliate account approval feature so you can manually check a user’s site and approve them if you want to. Once they are approved, they can take the impression and referral tracking code and put it on their site.

I’m still trying to figure out if there is a way to reward affiliates based on impressions instead of purchases.

Also, what about grouping affiliates and allowing certain creatives to be available to some and not others?

We are having a similar problem. I do see that the referrer ID is disappearing when navigation begins and the affiliate is receiving credit for “visits”, but not receiving any credit for sales.

We are using

Paid Memberships Pro (with the integration add on for Affiliate Manager) 1.7.15.2
WP Affiliate Manager 1.8.1
Paid Memberships Pro Integration for Affiliate Manager 1.0

Payment Gateway: Stripe

I though this was at first because we were testing in sandbox mode with PMP, but I went to live mode to eliminate this as a problem and it still is not giving credit for sales.

I verified in PMP that the sale is marked as “Success” and in the transaction I added the Affiliate ID (“1” in this case) to the transaction and updated. Still not seeing the sale credit being applied.
