Affiliate code doesn't seem quite right

When I’ve worked with affiliate codes they often look more like
http://www.michelepaiva.com/join-the-circle/?wpam_id=1

and in the documentation, it looks like that as well.

However, what I am getting is…
Join the Circle
So there is coding and the coding is not clickable when we tested it.

How do we make it more like
http://www.michelepaiva.com/join-the-circle/?wpam_id=1

Hi, When you copy and paste the full code you will only see the text in the visual editor. However, the text mode will show you to full HTML version.

Are you trying to make the text look like the full link?
