ParticipantI am in the testing stage of integrating this plugin with my site. None of my test affiliates were given login details at any point. How can I fix this please?
Thank you!November 9, 2018 at 6:59 am #4086Shadow Labs
KeymasterHi, Please enable debug in the affiliates manager settings so can check whether the email is being sent.

KeymasterPlease do a test registration and check the log file to see whether a confirmation email was sent to the affiliate.

ParticipantI checked the log and the email is being sent. The problem is that the body of the email doesn’t have the password or username info.
I checked the Support Documentation and included the tags listed. However, they are not coming up as dynamic in the sent email. That is, they read as {aff_last_name} in the received email and havent changed to the Affiliates Name.November 10, 2018 at 3:25 am #4094Shadow Labs
KeymasterHave you customized the body of the confirmation email? This is shown by default:
Your affiliate account for {blogname} has been approved!.
Username: {affusername}
Password: {affpassword}
Login URL: {affloginurl}Please log into your account to get referral code.

ParticipantYes the tags appear in the body of the just like that in the Manager. But they are not dynamically changing when the affiliate receives the email.

ParticipantShadow Labs – I haven’t heard anything back from you on here or the contact form/email I sent.
Does anyone else on here have some advice? I’m really stuck and getting desperate as my Affiliates want to start asap!November 12, 2018 at 12:58 pm #4101optimisegrow
ParticipantI too am having this same issue.
The message sent to the affiliate has none of the message set in the affiliate manager settings. I cant get it to send the email with the login details.November 12, 2018 at 2:19 pm #4103[email protected]
ParticipantOptimisegrow – mine appears to be working now. I didn’t change anything though so admin must have fixed something. The {aff_id} tag is the only one not working. everything else is working well. Wish I knew what fixed it so I could help you out!

ParticipantThanks urbanunicorndecor I’ll keep trying. It looks like woocommerce or simplemembership may be overriding the email settings of the affiliate plugin :/
