Hello support team of wp affiliate.

I installed the wp affiliate on my WordPress and did all the settings in the general tab, including:
    (1) Auto approval
    (2) Enabled debug
    (3) Filled in My “From email name” (with my website name)
    (4) Filled my ” From email address” (with my site email address)

The problem now is that I tested the affiliate registration page with my different Gmail addresses but was unable to receive any emails containing my login in details (both in my inbox and spam folder).
When I clicked on the wpam-log.txt, it keeps showing me text like:

    [12/14/2020 8:08 PM] – ——– Log File Reset ——–
    [12/15/2020 3:48 AM] – SUCCESS : Affiliate Application for
[12/15/2020 3:48 AM] – SUCCESS : Sending an email to [email protected]
[12/15/2020 3:48 AM] – SUCCESS : Email could not be sent by WordPress
    [12/15/2020 3:48 AM] – SUCCESS : New Affiliate Registration
[12/15/2020 3:48 AM] – SUCCESS : Sending an email to [email protected]
[12/15/2020 3:48 AM] – SUCCESS : Email could not be sent by WordPress

    I need help please.

Hi, the log file is saying that the email cannot be sent from your site by WordPress. Can you speak to your host about this issue?

Sometimes host mail servers don’t work too well. The following plugin might be able to help you if your host can’t help you.

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/easy-wp-smtp/

Let me know how you go.

    Thank you

Thank you so much for your replies. I have installed the plugin above, set up the necessary things but the problem is that when I tested with my email, the message sent was not containing any affiliate login details. It only contained the success message that an affiliate will get when completed registrations…This is the same customized message that shows on the screen when an affiliate submits a registration form.

This is the message that will be delivered to the inbox: Thank you for registering on our affiliate program. Your registration is now completed. Please, check your email inbox, junk, or spam folder, your affiliate login details including your username and password have been sent to the email provided in the registration form. You can now start promoting your affiliate link to earn a daily commission.

Please, how can I be able to make affiliate get their details instead of this???

@chimeck4love, This is not a plugin issue. WordPress is not being able to send the confirmation email from your website using the wp_mail function: https://developer.wordpress.org/reference/functions/wp_mail/

Do you have a contact form on your website? If so try to send a test email and see what happens. I believe you will encounter the same issue.

Please reach out to your web host and let them know that wp_mail is not working on your website.

    Hi @chimeck4love,

I was facing the same issue. The SMTP plugin above solved it. I had to search how to configure my SMTP in WordPress through my Email Host Provider (NameCheap). They have a page to solve this issue: https://www.namecheap.com/support/knowledgebase/article.aspx/10147/2239/how-to-set-up-wordpress-contact-form-7-with-easywp/#smtp

I think that your email host provider probably has a page like that one above. If not you should ask for support of you email host provider.
