Hello, I have been testing the affiliate account page and came across a strange issue in the password reset functionality. First, I do think it would be really helpful to message the “Please enter the same password in both fields” error on blur rather than on submit. But my real issue is that when I reset my password to a particular string involving letters, numbers, and <, it is not recognizing this new password. When I try and login I am told that my password is incorrect. Are there some characters that are not allowed in the password? Is there a way to tell users this? Thank you for your help.
@nicoler, Are you referring to the “Lost your password?” link on the affiliate login page?
No, it is after logging in >> Edit Profile >> Bottom of Contact Information section. There are two fields “New Password” and “Repeat New Password”.
