Automatic Emails not sending + robo spam subissions

I setup the plugin this afternoon (free version, no add ons). I’m running some test accounts before launching to public. None of the confirmation emails are coming or going (application submission, application approved, receipt of new application, etc). On top of that, the form is already receiving spam submissions from robots. I don’t see any anti-spam options available in settings.

Are there any solutions to these problems?

@GraceL, Do you have the debug option enabled in the affiliates manager settings? With debug enabled, you will be able to see whether the confirmation email is sent to the affiliate.
