When a referred client pays with COD, the affiliate does NOT get credit.

Why is this? Any help is appreciated.

For the record I ran another test in debug mode, and the output looks like it should have credited the sale properly. But, that didn’t happen.

The affiliate ID was also tracked fine under ‘Click Tracking’.

Found out that the affiliates were being created by me in Admin, and there was no way to ‘Accept the Terms and Conditions’, this apparently made any of their referrals not count. So, as a workaround If I am manually adding affiliates, I do it through the public form instead.

I noticed this problem too. No way to Accept the terms if manually adding an affiliate.

    Hi,

Found out that the affiliates were being created by me in Admin, and there was no way to ‘Accept the Terms and Conditions’, this apparently made any of their referrals not count. So, as a workaround If I am manually adding affiliates, I do it through the public form instead.

I just want to clarify this point for you. The following is the information displayed when adding a new affiliate manually via the site administration.

As an Affiliate Manager, if you want to create an affiliate account rather than directing someone to the normal registration form, you can do that here. Once you fill out the required contact information, your new affiliate will receive an email with their username and password. They will automatically be approved, but will still have to log in to agree to the terms & conditions and set their preferred payment method.

I hope the above clarifies your issue when adding an affiliate manually.

    Regards
