ParticipantI am totally new to this so my apologies if these are dumb questions. (I have read all the documentation and every post on this forum under the search term “creatives” but have not found anything to help or answer my question)
As someone who has not used this plugin before, the lack of a step by step “dummies guide” is a cause of huge frustration. Please can you help
1. When the affiliate logs in and goes to the creatives tab in the affiliate area he sees this:
Your Affiliate Link Using Affiliate ID:
https://xxxxxxx.co.za/?wpam_id=1My question is whether he must copy and paste this link as is to use in emails etc?
Is there not a version which does not display or show the ?wpam_id=1 which he can use?
If there is, where is it and how do I find it?2. What is the step by step procedure for the affiliate to extract and use an image creative
This is what you see on the affiliate creatives page:The following creatives are available for publication.
Type Name
Text default creative
Image testWhen I click on the creative named “test” it shows me HTML snippet and the image but nothing is embedded in the image (as far as I can determine) so how does the affiliate actually make use of this ? Step by step please, I am lost! Also is the “alt text” which I entered not supposed to be a part of this somehow?
Thank you for reading.

KeymasterHi, The plugin automatically creates a sample text ad when you first install the plugin. Have you created an image ad in the Creatives menu?
The URL that you see in the Creatives tab is the default URL that an affiliate an use to link to your site. It can be used in an email as well.

ParticipantThanks for replying
Yes I have created an image ad, however I do not understand how the affiliate is able to utilise this ad. When I log in as an affiliate, it does not present me (the affiliate) with an all inclusive “copy & paste ready” banner/image ad with my link embedded but with the link in text format and the image separately. Is this correct? So if it is correct, must the affiliate copy his link and then copy the image and then embed the link in the image wherever he is going to use it (like in an email)?

KeymasterThe plugin shows the full HTML code that an affiliate will be able to copy and paste into their site to promote a product. If you have a test affiliate account, please use the contact form to get in touch so we can log in and check the issue.
