ParticipantHi,
Can the referrer customize the url , i.e.
http://yoursite.com/?wpam_id=JohnJacobSmith. Is there any addon? If it isn’t possible can we change the this text ‘wpam_id’ to ‘partner’ , i.e.
http://yoursite.com/?partner=123by editing code? It would be great if you tell us which file/code need to edit to achieve this. If we can at least change the ‘partner’ text we can then use it to our site.https://dev.ethiscrowd.com/affiliate-home/November 5, 2018 at 9:41 am #4074mbrsolution

ParticipantI think you didn’t understood my question. I wasn’t looking for how to generate url rather looking for customize the url as shown below.
http://yoursite.com/?wpam_id=123Tohttp://yoursite.com/?wpam_id=JohnJacobSmithAffiliates can generate url but in your plugin they cannot customize it like the above one. I was asking is there any addon features that can allow the affliate to customize it or not.
Secondly, can we change the this text ‘wpam_id’ to ‘partner’ by editing code? Like the below one
http://yoursite.com/?wpam_id=123tohttp://yoursite.com/?partner=123It would be great if you tell us which file/code need to edit to achieve this.
Hope this time you may understood.

ModeratorHi, sorry for misunderstanding your question.
Affiliates can generate url but in your plugin they cannot customize it like the above one. I was asking is there any addon features that can allow the affliate to customize it or not.
Unfortunately that option at present is not possible.
Kind regards

ParticipantThis option would be a great improvement, could be possible to include in the next release of the plugin? It would be far more elegant to allows site owners (much more than affiliates) to customize the url query string in order to match their needs. IMHO, it’s not so nice to spread the url query string with its current form.
As alternative, can you disclose the plugin file to be edited in order to make a quick and dirty personal customization? Or maybe a function to be overridden…
