ParticipantUpon reading the description for Revenue Sharing add on. There is an explanation that states:
“You will create an affiliate account for each of your partners/authors. So an affiliate account is like a partner account and you will use the affiliate account to track the revenue sharing.
The revenue sharing addon allows you to specify an affiliate ID for your WooCommerce products. When a product (associated with an affiliate ID) is purchased, Affiliates Manager plugin will credit a share of the revenue to that affiliate. This affiliate (specified in the product) will continue to get the revenue share (in the form of affiliate commission) every time this product is sold. No customer referral (by the affiliate) is necessary for this type of setup.
This allows you to use the affiliate management system in the following way:
Share revenue with an affiliate only when a particular WooCommerce product is purchased.
Sell external products from your site and split profit with another author/partner.”My understanding of the above statement is that the normal affiliate commissions for referring customers is disabled. That all affiliates are limited to be partners/authors of the product that receive a commission when the product sells.
I need to have referral affiliates AND partner affiliates.

ParticipantI specifically need BOTH the referring affiliate to be awarded a commission AND the partner to receive their commission for products that sell.
Example: Super Thing-A-Majig is purchased for $9.99.
Product Partner Commission: $3.33
Referring Affiliate Commission: $3.33
Site owner retains: $3.33November 29, 2018 at 3:40 am #4190Shadow Labs

That’s how it works at the moment.

ParticipantWhat?!!!
The Revenue Sharing add on works at the moment. But can stop working at any time? Please explain. I really do not want to put my time into a plugin that is going to stop working at anytime.

Keymaster@dan5770, What I’m saying is that the addon doesn’t disable commission tracking via affiliate links. It will continue to work normally.
