ParticipantHello
Where do I edit an email that is sent to affiliates who are already members of my course (HBGCourse).
The email is sent to affiliates (once there account has been approved by me) who use the same email address as the email they have used to register with my membership product.
This is the wording of the email “New affiliate registration for HBGCourse: has been approved! Log into the site with your existing account and get started.”
This email is not available to edit in the “Messaging” section of settings within your plugin.
Where would I find it please.

ModeratorHi, can you check the following affiliate_application_approved_email under Messaging tab in your settings. What do you see?

ParticipantHi, mbrsolution,
The “affiliate_application_approved_email” is what arrives for an affiliate who has used a unique email address. I have already edited this message to include login links etc.
When someone registers to become an affiliate of my product (HBGCourse) but they already have an account with my product and they use the same email address when registering to be an affiliate as the one they have with my product then this email arrives
“New affiliate registration for HBGCourse: has been approved! Log into the site with your existing account and get started.
Any thoughts on how to edit the wording of the email that arrives. Its not in any of the messaging section of the plugin. Perhaps WordPress generate this email.
Thanks in advance.

What is the custom message you added in this field? I am curious to know.
but they already have an account with my product
Do you have a membership plugin installed? Or do they open up a WP Users account in your site?
Its not in any of the messaging section of the plugin. Perhaps WordPress generate this email.
That is what I am trying to work out. Because the message you receive now is very similar to the message that is originally added to the following field affiliate_application_approved_email under Messaging tab in your settings.

ParticipantHi
Yes I do use a membership plugin (optimize Member). I have installed an affiliate registration page inside of the membership site for members to sign up with and become an affiliate.
And on the registration page within the membership site it does automatically populate the email box with their email as well as say underneath the email box that in order to use a different email they must log out first and then register.
Below is the custom message I have created for the “affiliate_application_approved_email” . This email though only arrives for people who have registered with a unique email and one not associated with my membership site.
“Congratulations, your affiliate account for the HBGCourse has been approved!.
Please use the login details below to access your affiliate account which contains everything needed to promote the course with.
Login:
www.hbgcourse.com/affiliate-login
Email: {affusername}
Password: {affpassword}If you have any questions then please visit the contact page,
www.hbgcourse.com/contactI will check the membership plugin and see if that has anything to do with the email and to be honest its not a disaster if I cant find how to edit the email that members of my product receive but it would be nice to know.
Thanks again mbrsolution, I appreciate your help. Nick

I am also curious to know if it does come from your membership plugin or not.

Keymaster@sheild, If the user already had an account on the site, they are asked to log in with their existing account. You can customize this message using this method:
