Enable Impressions

I am new to WP Affiliate Manager and would like to know what others have experienced with the Enable Impressions feature. I tried searching the forum for any related topics but the search widget does not appear to search the forum.

Hi, There is an option in the affiliates manager settings to enable impression on all of your creatives.

Thank your for your response Shadow Labs. I see the option to enable impressions which is what precipitated my inquiry. Quoting part of the description:

This can be useful for determining creative click through rates, but can add a significant burden to the server as far as additional requests and data storage (depending on the frequency of creative views), which in turn may slow down page loads where a creative is shown.

I am curious as to what others have experienced in regards to a burden to the server, data storage, and slowing down of page loads. Has this been an issue for any long time users?

This feature is not used by a lot of users. But we haven’t heard of any performance issue from any of our users so far.
