1) If someone promotes their affiliate link and makes a sale before accepting the terms & conditions within WordPress, do they still get credit when they eventually login and accept the terms?
2) If someone places an order then cancels it, would that be removed from the commission?
Hi,

Is this via a different payment gateway instead of PayPal? Or are you singing them manually? Can you provide more information.
2) If someone places an order then cancels it, would that be removed from the commission?
They will not get a commission if the order has a zero value.
Thanks for your reply. For #1, when someone signs up, they get the “affiliate_application_approved_email” email which tells them they’re approved, what their referral URL is, and it gives them the login URL. So they could start promoting the products right away because they have their referral URL, before they even log in and accept the terms and conditions. So the question is, will they get credit for the products they promoted before accepting the terms?
Hi,
before they even log in and accept the terms and conditions.
That only applies to manually created affiliates not affiliates that register via the registration form. They must agree to the terms and condition or else the plugin does not approve them.
Are you manually creating your affiliates?
Regards
@crunch42, If you have the “automatically approve a new affiliate” option enabled in the settings, newly registered affiliates won’t have to accept the terms.
