Tagged: address, custom field, email, paypal, registration form
I am trying to add the PayPal email address option to the custom form so users can enter their PayPal email straight off while registering the account but I don’t know how to do it.
Can someone explain how to do this because it is very important to have this field filled as soon as they register, thanks.
Hi, please check the following documentation. Let me know if this helps you.
Kind regards
@glmx, An affiliate will be able to specify the PayPal email address in their dashboard after the registration is completed.
I did check that documentation but when I go to the Add custom field option in settings and select the dropdown Field Type, I get everything but PayPal Email Address field.
I need someone to tell me what to put in there manually since it seems this field is not covered with the options currently available for the custom fields.
Thanks
Hi,
I get everything but PayPal Email Address field.
A PayPal e-mail address is an e-mail account. When you select the field name E-Mail Address in the dropdown menu, the plugin knows it is an e-mail account that will be added in this field when filling out the registration form. That is all you need to do.
Let us know if you need more help.
Kind regads
@glmx, We already have a PayPal email field that appears in the affiliate profile page.
