I have a fixed amount for commissions, and using Paid Membership Pro, with the add-on installed.

    All is working okay, but…

I have a 100% coupon for PM pro, but commission isn’t being paid when it is used.

Is this by design? If a 100% coupon is used, so no payment is made, is commission then not applied?

Is there a minimum payment required?

Or have I done something wrong? 😉

    Thank you, Simon.

Hi, have you entered this amount in the plugin settings under General? Or have you added this commission amount somewhere else?

Also try the following test. Allow 99% commission see if that works. And if it does work then I suspect that the plugin does not allow for 100% commission. This is just a theory of mine.

    Kind regards

    Hi, yes:

Bounty Type = Fixed Amount per Sale
    Bounty Rate = 10

    Under https://www.wpoverlord.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=wpam-settings

Although a strange situation, it can be described as:

A member uses a 100% coupon, to get free access, but I still want to know who the affiliate was so I can reward them (in this case with £10).

Know who referred them is the main reason.

Hi, so you are saying that when you check the Commission link in the admin menu you don’t see anything there? Are you using any shopping cart like WooCommerce?

No, Woocommerce is not activated, but yes, that’s the problem. I’ll try again, I’ve changed it to have a free membership “level” in Paid Membership Pro, do you think that should work?

Hi, just one question. Do you have the following addon installed?

@simon.goodchild, If the commission amount is zero after calculation, affiliates manager will still record it as long as you don’t have the “Do Not Record Zero Amount Commission” option enabled in the settings. In this case, you have a fixed commission amount setup, so it doesn’t really matter whether a 100% coupon code was used.

That being said, a commission will only get registered if Paid Memberships Pro considers it as a sale and notifies the plugin of it.

Hi – yes, I have the addon activated.

I want to track who is getting recorded as the affiliate, even for free members.

So I’m going to add a free level with Paid Membership Pro, not use a coupon, and see if that works okay as a baseline.
