Lifetime Commissions? Email Tracking?

I want to do the following:

I create a first-purchase only coupon code for an Affiliate. Affiliate gives Customer coupon code. Customer makes a purchase with the code and inputs Customer’s email during checkout. Customer returns a month later and makes a 2nd purchase with the same email, but no coupon code.

Are we able to track and pay the Affiliate for the 2nd purchase made by the Customer?

That is, are we able to track a Customer’s email and pay an Affiliate a lifetime commission for purchases made by that customer, when the customer’s first purchase came via a coupon code? Or what if they just came to the site via an affiliate link with no coupon code?

What happens if someone deletes their cookies?

Or is that once someone is in the WordPress/Woocommerce system you can track them by their email?

– There is no way for the plugin to know that the user was referred by an affiliate.
