Following affiliate registration the applicant receives the confirmation email, however admin does not receive the new affiliate notification email.
Thanks
Hi, Do you have the debug option enabled in the affiliates manager settings? It should be able to tell you whether or not the email was sent without any issue.
Hi, I have not been receiving emails when affiliate registers. I have put on the debug option and it says email sent successfully, but not arriving. I have checked spam – nothing there. Please advise. Jo
@Designer1, A success message does not mean that the user received the email successfully. It just means that WordPress was able to send an email without any errors.
Usually this type of issue occurs on shared hosting where the web host sets up restrictions on outgoing emails. Try using a SMTP plugin and see how it goes.
Today, one user went to the Affiliate Registration page and bypassed a user registration process, so, he managed to register as an affiliate without being a user, he did not have nor recieved any password to access his control panel, and I can not change the ROLL from Affiliate to user, this is an error. If user is not a registered user he can not register as an affiliate. Please make this correction as soon as possible,
Thanks
@eHosting, Did you check the Users menu to see if an account was created for it? Did you have the debug option enabled in the affiliates manager settings? With debug enabled, you will be able to see whether a confirmation email (with the login credentials) is being sent to the affiliate.
