I have installed this plugin on one of my websites and loved it – and wanted to offer affiliates on another website of mine.
So I installed the plugin on that website as well, using the same settings, etc.
However, the registration page does not work. Once the information is filled out, the registration page reloads, and highlights the email address. (However, the application email is sent, and I can still approve/deny it – but the user would otherwise be stuck at the registration screen)
I tried a few things… clearing cache, adding Captcha, removing Captcha, deleting plugin and reinstalling, etc.
Deleting and reinstalling was interesting… See, I deleted the plugin and any addons I installed… and I also deleted the pages that the plugin created.
Upon reinstalling the plugin though, it appears there is a secret hidden Captcha addon still somewhere, and the Pages were not created upon installation (I had to recreate them manually)
I contacted my domain host to see if it was an issue on their end, they claim it is the plugin.
So upon the 2nd install of the plugin, keep in mind I deleted the Captcha addon as well – but after installing the plugin the 2nd time, I noticed that extra fields were showing up, along with the Captcha. (Extra fields meaning, all I was wanting to capture was First/Last name and Email address. But there was now Company name, URL, etc. and a Captcha, even though I had previously deleted the addon along with the entire plugin before reinstalling just the Affiliate Manager plugin by itself)
So I contact my hosting provider to see if anything on their end was causing the issue. They reloaded some files on their end, and advised that I delete the plugin, and reinstall it yet again, and start completely fresh.
Except…it doesn’t start completely fresh. All of my previous settings are still there. The captcha still shows up, the extra fields still show up…Even if I edit the plugin settings to show specific fields, and save it….when I visit the affiliate section in a Private Browser in Firefox, or an Incognito window in Chrome, the extra fields and Captcha show up.
When I check the affiliate page while logged in – it appears fine (but this is not what a user would see)
I have no idea whats going on… and find it absolutely frustrating that the plugin works 100% flawlessly on one website, but not on another site. Makes no sense.
Any ideas???
November 18, 2019 at 8:26 pm #6389I apologize, I did not see the post about testing themes and plugins to see if there is a conflict.
I just did that.
It seems that W3 Total Cache, when activated, shows the extra registration forms and the Captcha.
And it seems that YOAST SEO, when activated, causes the error where the registration page reloads itself, and highlights the email box red.
This is still weird, because on my other website, I have both of these plugins activated, and WP Affiliate Manager runs with no issues at all

This is still weird, because on my other website, I have both of these plugins activated, and WP Affiliate Manager runs with no issues at all
What is the difference between the site that works and the site the does not work? Also, are both sites running in the same server?
Thank you
