    Hi

I am not sure what triggers an order to be paid and finalised and to be shown under an affiliate. I have tested an order with an affiliate link, confirmed this order in the back end as payment received (but we use custom statuses, so this may interfere, I don’t know) but it does not show up under the affiliate.

Can you clarify a little more how this works?

    Regards
    Theo

    Hi

ok I think my affiliate is not active because they are meant to accept some terms and conditions. What terms and conditions though? I don’t see a page like that nor a link anywhere to that?

    Hi,

Can you check to make sure the Terms and Conditions checked box is displayed in the registration page? Check the following documentation affiliate-registration-and-login to learn more.

Also, have you enabled Automatically approve a new affiliate in the Settings tab? If you have, newly registered affiliates won’t have to accept the terms and conditions.

    Kind regards

    HI

Ok – we don’t allow affiliates to register but rather create them ourselves. But indeed the “automatically approve” worked. Would it not be better to just be able to activate an affiliate from the back end?

Then – I see that it triggers a commission upon “processing” – however we do not use that status. In our environment most orders come in unpaid. The order will be in the status “awaiting payment”. Customer then transfers money. Once received, we move it to “payment received”. It is at that point that it should trigger the commission. Credit Card payments follow the same path – it goes to “payment received” after which we send it off.

How do we change the status that would trigger the commission?

    Cheers

    Hi

Just a little bump to see if there is a solution for this?

    Cheers

If you are using with WooCommerce then the payment status needs to be “processing” or “completed” for our plugin to process the commission.

You can enable the debug logging feature in the plugin to see if our plugin is receiving the payment notification and what the payment status is.

    Hi

Hmm ok that is a problem for us. We do not use either of those statuses. So there is no way of telling the plugin upon which status it needs to process the commission?
