ParticipantDear Team,
i have 3 questions:
1.) Is it possible to pay the affiliate 10% of the product price, but after tax and not before tax? e.g. my product costs 2,50 Euros. I want to give the affiliate 0,25 Euros incl vat.
2.) Is it possible to use a affiliate link and a affiliate coupon code at the same time? In my case the affiliate gets 10% when customers use his affiliate link. On the other hand affiliates do have affiliate coupon codes too: affiliate getss 10% commission and the customer 10% discount. e.g. a customer buys something from a affiliate link but at the same time uses the affilates coupon code. Does the influencer then get 20% commission? bcz i don’t want this to happen. i want that the affiliate gets 10% instead of 10%+10%. how can i solve this problem?
3.) is there an option where i can set the commission percentage to 10% of the sales price and not the price after the discount code? e.g. my product costs 2,50 euros, after the discount code it will be 2,25 Euros. The affiliate would only get 0,22 Euros, but i want him to get 0,25 Euros (Commission before coupon code)
thank you very much and best regards

ParticipantHey Shadow Labs,
i can’t do anyting with your answer. Could you plz try to give me an answer on the three questions? i will rewrite it:
1.) Does the plugin calculate the commission before tax (2,49 Euros) or after tax (2,07 Euros)?
2.) Does the plugin recognize that a customer is using an affiliate link and a affiliate coupon code at the same time? Does the plugin then gives the double commission or does it calculate it correctly (just one commission).
3.) if a customer uses a coupon code, does the affiliate get the commission of the sales price or the commission of the discount price?
4.) if i select “fixed sum” instead of “% of sales”. How do i have to write the amount if i have several currencies? For example i want to give “0,25 Euros” as a fixed commission. The currency is in euros. What about orders from switzerland? they have a different currency and price.
best regards

KeymasterHi, Regarding your questions:
1) It depends on the integration. Which one are you using?
2) We only have one option for rewarding a commission via a coupon code: https://wpaffiliatemanager.com/tracking-affiliate-commission-using-woocommerce-coupons-or-discount-codes/
Are you referring to this addon?
3) The plugin tries to reward a commission on the sale amount (the amount excluding shipping, tax, fees and discount). However, it depends on what amount the e-commerce plugin is sending to our plugin.
4) The plugin doesn’t take the currency into account. It’s only for display purpose.
