Affiliates Management Plugin for WordPress

WordPress Affiliate Manager › Forums › Affiliate Manager Plugin › Payment method
Hi. In settings -> Affiliate registration I have PayPal checked under available payment methods. Also, I have PayPal mass pay enabled. However, if I view one of my affiliate accounts, it says check. Is this something they are doing when they set up their account?
Hi, Yes. Your affiliate can select how they wish to get the payment in their affiliate account.
Ok, than what’s the point of me selecting a payment method on my end if what they select overrides it?
What payment options did you select in the settings?
PayPal. I’m just wondering whats even the point of selecting something on my end if they have an option on their end as well. For example, what if I select PayPal and they select check?
If you enable PayPal they will only have PayPal on their end. However, with “automatic approval” the plugin needs to set some values by default so the affiliate can quickly login and start promoting your products. In this case, it’s setting check by default because the affiliate didn’t actually configure anything. Once they login they have the option to edit their profile and specify the PayPal email address.
That makes sense. Thank you.
