I just set up the affiliate software but when anyone signs up, it does a red highlight on email address and says email address is already in use, when that can’t be the case because it’s a brand new install and that person is not a member on the site either.
The thing is that at the same time that person’s account IS created in my affiliates, and they receive the welcome email and if they go to the login it works… So it’s something with the system.
It also does not direct to Mailchimp despite having that add-on activated. I deactivated the add-on to see if that was the problem, since it wasn’t working, but it happened again…
Please advise/fix!
