ParticipantI have some general questions that I haven’t found an answer for here in the forum.
I appreciate that you provided a through Terms and Conditions page. I think that it would be used a beginning framework for the terms needed for the site where the plugin is used. As I read the T&C there seem to be some areas where the page differs technically from the functions as I understand them.
The terms and conditions (Referral fees/commissions and payment) seem to say that a cookie is only good for as long as the browser window is open. However, there is an option to set the number of days for cookies. Is the text in T&C incorrect?
Is there any limit to the number of days a cookie can be set for?
In the T&C (Account Terms) the concept of “others who have accounts under your account” is mentioned. How would someone be signed up under another user?
Is there any provision for multi-level affiliates? Meaning an affiliate recruits others and gets a percentage of the affiliates commissions?
In the T&C (Links/graphics on your site, in your emails, or other communications) says affiliate links must point to the home page but the documentation says any page will work for tracking. Which is correct?
Can a properly used tracking code be recognized on any page in the site?
And I have some other questions about the T&C. I know these contain legal issues probably best discussed with an attorney but I’d appreciate knowing any issues about the following:
Are there problems with non US affiliates, so long as PayPal will pay in the affiliate’s country?
Are there problems with affiliates buying products from a site where they are affiliates? So long as the purchases are not for resale?
Has allowing affiliates to issue press releases about becoming a site affiliate caused problems? Thanks.

KeymasterThe default terms and conditions text has some mistakes in it. We will update it in the next release. In the meantime you can update it from the settings menu.
There is no limit to the number of days a cookie can be set for.
Affiliate link to any page will work fine (doesn’t have to be homepage). There is no issue with non-US affiliates. It is totally upto you if you want to accept non-US affiliates or not.
