WP Affiliate Manager not working with – "easy digital downloads" and "s2member"

Hi,

I have installed WP Affiliate Manager in one of my client website with “easy digital downloads” and “s2member” plugin.
I have also install the “affiliates-manager-s2member-integration” for s2member integration.

I am using Paypal for payment processing and the “WP Affiliate Manager” is not working for “easy digital downloads” and “s2member”. I tried sandbox payment as well as live payments but in both case result is zero.

Issue Scenario:-

1. Anyone can register and login using the “WP Affiliate Manager” system.
2. Using the affiliate link (one get from the Creatives tab) affiliate user did not get any commission after successful purchase.

*** I try to enable the debug system of the WP Affiliate Manager plugin but it logs nothing.

Hi, Thanks for sharing the info. For some reason the admin credentials are not working for me.

and make sure to include the last character of the passwords dot “.”

There was a minor bug in the S2Member addon. We have just released an update to fix it. So you might want to update the addon and see how it goes:

just advising… on live server I updated all plugins and still doesn’t pick up the sales

same issue here…

-even after updating the plugin there is no sales tracked,
-log file doesn’t write anything even after setting the permission to 777 manually
-log file is able to be reset with button showing this result (need to go to ftp manually as clicking on the link in affiliate settings still shows blank page)

I am still looking for your reply and a proper solution about the issue.
In you plugin description it says “Affiliate Manager seamlessly integrates with … Easy Digital Downloads “.
But after installing it is not working seamlessly with Easy Digital Downloads.

Please provide a solution about this.

@snapycode, we actually have separate integration options with both S2Member and Easy Digital Downloads. Are you just following the Easy Digital Downloads integration or both?

I just tried my first test run today and am having the same problem. I am using s2member, buddypress, and affiliate manager. I am want to pay affiliates a commission for membership sign up only, no other products. The clicks show up, been the purchase I tried did not credit the would be affiliate. What’s up?

Hi,

I try to investigate the bug source for “Easy Digital Downloads” bug (with paypal sandbox).

My result
I found that “wpam_tracking_tokens_purchase_logs” table does not insert entry the successful purchase (it is happen when pay through paypal).

this is why I get NULL at this point and could not proceed further –
$affiliate = $db->getAffiliateRepository()->loadByPurchaseLogId( $purchaseLogId );

**** So just tell me how I make the data insert for successful purchase in “wpam_tracking_tokens_purchase_logs” table.

You and me both know that this plugin has bugs. I try to help you as well as myself to solve those. So please reply as soon as possible and make this plugin work as expected.

We added more debug messages for Easy Digital Downloads integration (there wasn’t enough). We also tested to make sure it works with the latest version of Easy Digital Downloads plugin. Can you please update the Affiliates Manager plugin and do another test purchase? It will be much easier to investigate the issue now.

Updated tested… now I can see this in log file:

it says success awarding but still it doesn’t actually award

Updated and tested and found same result except now it logs like mopo says.

Still “wpam_tracking_tokens_purchase_logs” table does not insert entry the successful purchase, which I think is required to calculate and provide the commission to the affiliate user.

Do you see a new entry under “Affiliates->My Affiliates->view->Account Finances”?
