In the test the affiliate was clicked and the click was reported in the plugin.

How can I test the plugin to make sure it’s working without having to pay for my product? Would a Paypal sandbox work?

I moved everything to the one site. I did a test product that was .10 The purchase was made but it was not recorded in the affiliate program. Was that because no money was made on the transaction? Paypal takes the entire .10 as a transaction fee.

Hi mb! Thanks for you reply and nice article, but I still don’t understand.

If I have the affiliate plugin on one url ie: www.membershipsite.com but the banner with the affiliate link goes to a landing page that is on another url ie www.marketingsite.com that offers a freebie and an offer that refers back to membershipsite.com for a paid membership. Will the plugin still track the sale?

Or

Does the plugin have to be on the same site that the products for sale are?
