    That’s great! With me, text ads are used more than graphic banners.

    If I didn’t break anything, I was able to make changes in the English text used in the plugin. I used poedit to modify plugins/affiliates-manager/languages/wpam.pot.

    I added the changes I wanted to make in the default text as a translation. Then saved it and the associated file as wpam-en_US.po and wpam-en_US.mo in the same file as wpam.pot.

    My changes now appear in the sites front end as I wanted. The rest of my site appears to be working normally. I hope this may help someone in the future.

    I found a role plugin (WPFront User Role Editor) that did almost what I wanted. I still have to manually change the role after sign up.

    I only want to change the wording in some of the text. My site is in English and I wan to leave it like that.
