@scrafted, Do you see a referring URL? It’s unusual to get 300 visits just after signup.

@Akquire, It seems to be working fine on our end. What email address are you exactly using? Have you updated to the latest version of the plugin?

Hi, Thank you very much for rating our plugin. This page will explain how an affiliate can link to any page on your site: https://wpaffiliatemanager.com/affiliates-can-link-page-site/

Alternatively, you can configure text links/image banners in the “Creatives” menu so affiliaites manager can automatically generate links for your affiliates. This will probably be easier than sending links to each affiliate manually.

Well, Affiliates Manager doesn’t have any integration with Braintree. So this error will only occur if there is a conflict with the form plugin. Are you doing purchases in sandbox mode? If so please provide a link so I can do a test transaction and check for errors in my console.

You don’t actually need to modify any plugin files. You just call this action hook inside the function where you process the payments (Please see the link I shared). I can’t write any code because I don’t know how your caldera payment processing function looks like.

Hi, In order to create an affiliate account you will need to register on the Affiliate Registration page. You will see a success message once the registration is completed. Your login credentials will also be sent to you via email after you have signed up.

When you go to the affiliate login page and login with your affiliate account credentials, you will automatically get redirected to the dashboard (Store Affiliates page). Affiliate dashboard contains a “Creatives” menu where you will find your default affiliate link, text links, image banners.

If you don’t get redirected to the Store Affiliates page upon login, you may have a plugin/theme installed that is overriding this functionality. In that case deactivate one plugin at a time to find the one that’s causing this conflict.

We haven’t updated the impressions code yet. It’s still using the old affiliate link format. But it wouldn’t record 400 false visits.

Probably it’s a good idea to disable impressions for now. You can continue to monitor if it makes any difference.

It has to be the affiliate site. Affiliates Manager is installed only on your site. That means it can only track a click when a visitor comes to your site through a special URL.

One thing I noticed is the tracking key format of those clicks. This tracking key format is already deprecated in our plugin. I’m not sure how an affiliate (who signed up yesterday) could refer users using our old affiliate link format. Do you have the Impressions option enabled in the settings?

Hi, Does this action hook only gets triggered on the front end? If so you can then simply call an action hook to award commission for it (after the payment is processed).

API – Track Commission via a WordPress Hook

If this hook can also get triggered on the back end, we will need to find a way to save the Affiliate ID during checkout. Otherwise, affiliates manager wouldn’t know which sale was referred by an affiliate.

Please go to the “Click Tracking” menu and see which URL referred those clicks. There is a good chance those were spam clicks.

Hi, That’s very unusual. Do you see any referring URL? Have you tested it with your affiliate link?

I believe it’s conflicting with some other plugin. Do you have any plugin installed that handles WordPress user registration or login? If not try deactivating one plugin at a time to see which one is causing this issue.

If it’s not a plugin, do a theme test by switching to a default WordPress theme temporarily (Twenty 16, 15 or 14).
