@scottelkin, The ID is saved when a new order is placed (assuming the cookie is present in the browser). It doesn’t matter if it’s a guest checkout or the user is logged in.
Before clicking the PLACE ORDER button you can check for a cookie named “wpam_id” in your browser.
@scottelkin, According to your log the plugin stopped processing both orders because they were subscription payments. Are you saying there is more data in the debug file?

@sacovi, This email is sent If the affiliate already has an existing WordPress user account on the site with the same email address. The login credentials are sent only when a new WordPress user account is created.

https://thesunlitlife.com/portal/. If you have specified this URL in a plugin, that’s what’s causing the redirection.We signed up for an account to test it. You can delete that account.

@sacovi, With manual approval, you need to approve their application from the “My Affiliates” interface. Only then a WordPress user account is created and the affiliate receives their login credentials via email.
You can customize the content of the email in the Messaging tab (Affiliates > Settings > Messaging).
@sacovi, Do you have the “automatic approval” option enabled in the plugin settings (Affiliates > Settings > General)?

@cassiesun, The redirection may not work if another plugin tries to redirect to a different page.
@Josep, Please update the plugin to the latest release (2.8.3). The error is shown if an affiliate account exists (not for a WordPress user account). What happens if they apply after logging in?
@manueldevitohotmail-com, They both have the same functionality. We just have a paid version for users who need priority support (where we need to login to their site to troubleshoot an issue related to the plugin).
@Burtininkas, This is not really a plugin issue that we can fix. Try using a SMTP plugin or customizing the content and see if it makes a difference.
